Introducing Cocktails & Containers

Welcome to the first episode of Cocktail and Containers…my podcast with organizing tips served up with a tasty cocktail !

I am so excited to have another way to share ideas and tips for you to help with organizing your family. This episode is a peek into what my organizing philosophy is and how I apply it when working with families to create organizing and simplifying solutions for their home.

I also want to invite you to join my Cocktails and Containers Facebook group. Here you can find links to products I mention and past episodes, as well as a platform to pose questions specifically related to organizing your family. And I frequently do live chats in the group to answer those questions directly. You can join us HERE.

And, of course, I included a seasonal cocktail recipe, because what is an episode of “Cocktails and Containers” without cocktail?!? In honor of back to school, cooler weather and football, we are making Apple Beermosas.

Serves 2

Inspired by Tastefully Eclectic’s Recipe

  • 12 oz Apple Ale or non-hoppy beer (I used Redd’s Apple Ale)
  • 12 oz Apple Juice or Cider
  • 1 Apple, cut or sliced

Place cut or sliced apples in the bottom of a pitcher. Slowly add beer, trying not to let beer foam too much. Next add apple juice or cider and stir, mashing apples a little. You CAN drink it right away but I recommend placing in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the apples start to break down a bit.

If you wanted to you use the entire six pack (and had a large enough pitcher), just multiply the other ingredients to taste.

Have a topic you would like me to address? A cocktail I should make on a future episode? A thumbs up or down on the Apple Beermosa? Please comment below and let me know what you think!
